Good news is, it's blog day AND it's snowing (please stay for Christmas!)
Bad news is, Monday comes after today ! (But so does another BLOG, that should make you want to wake up tomorrow. No? Amuse me.)
Moving on ! It's RECIPE day !
This week, Mr. decided to pick the oriental beef and veggie stir fry with chow mein noodles. YUM.
Here is what I used :
* Veggies - picture below (Now, I'm not normally one to use frozen veggies, but this day, I was running a little late and thought it may be a tad quicker to go this route ! Ya, ya, I saved a total of five minutes, but so what. I can do A LOT in five minutes. I'm a mother remember - we are born to multitask!)
* Clubhouse sauce package. Also in picture. (yum.yum.)
* Beef, now I really wanted to use the very thin stuff they cut for fondue, but Superstore didn't have any available that day. So, I just bought the strips they cut for stir fry and cut them in half to make them thinner.
* Chow mein noodles- picture below.
I cooked the beef until the pink was out. Threw in the veggies, and about 5 minutes later threw in the Clubhouse package. And VOILA. You have your stir fry. (Hey, I said I would post recipes, I didn't say I would be the Chef of the year :)
Cook your noodles, which only take a total of 4 minutes ! (Perfect right?)
Noodles on plate. CHECK. Stir fry over the top. CHECK. Yummy meal. CHECK.
